Job Description

Ipsos *is operating a global Human Capital Management system, which contains a number of key modules. The role of the HCM Functional Manager reports to the SVP, HCM & Payroll systems (currently Joel Gunter). The primary goal of the HCM & Payroll team is to maximize the value of HR technology as a tool to manage human capital at Ipsos globally.

The HCM Functional Manager
is responsible for promoting and maintaining high levels of user adoption and expertise, testing and ensuring smooth system upgrades, enhancing and adopting new functionality as it becomes available, and managing the implementation of new modules. This role will require working closely with the HR community, the software vendor, as well as members of the larger MIS team.

Missions

• Work with the HR community in adopting the application, identifying new needs, and designing systematic workflows and processes
• Manage all aspects of operating a Software as a Service (SaaS) HR module, including but not limited to configuring and modifying system setups, testing, managing upgrades, providing trainings, creating documentation, providing troubleshooting support, etc.
• Work with software vendor in resolving bugs, defects, and other system issues
• Lead global implementation of small functional module(s) and be a main contributor in the implementation of major modules
• Responsible for the development of system training and communication materials

Preferred Experience

Profile

  • Candidate with relevant 10+ year work experience desired
  • Strong HR functional expertise and thorough understanding of HR business processes
  • Technical hands-on working experience with Oracle HCM platform and/or international HR management software
  • Previous work experience with a Global scope – HCM or Payroll implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (and other Microsoft applications) required
  • Working knowledge with a number of HR/Finance & other software languages/programs preferred
  • Excellent communications skills in English required as this person will need to interact with Ipsos’ HR community in all geographies
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
