Descriptif du poste

Ipsos is operating a global Human Capital Management system, which contains a number of key HR modules, with planned expansion.

The goal of the Management Information Systems (MIS) team is to maximize the value of HR technology as a tool to manage human capital at Ipsos globally. In this context, we are looking for a BI HR Reporting Developer to work on Development, Maintenance and Support in the HR Reporting business area.

The scope entails development in 2 applications: - The HR Reporting in the Ipsos HR system iTalent based on Oracle HCM Cloud technology, using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher languages - The HR area of the Ipsos Business Intelligence (BI) application, using Microsoft SQL Server language iTalent Reporting is mostly dedicated to the HR community (250 users) and Management teams, it contains reports covering all the HR business area, as well as specific Payroll related reports for the Finance and Payroll Administration teams (150 users).

Ipsos BI application is a web-based application with 15 000+ active users producing more than 3,7 million reports per year, and also generates more than 135 000 automated e-mail alerts per year for 6 000+ users, and also has dedicated HR related reporting for Business, Finance & HR teams.

The mission will encompass the following responsibilities:

Contribute to the annual BI / HR Reporting application maintenance and development strategic plan and priorities, following the standard development and security protocol and the business requirements provided by Ipsos, by completing development based on defined functional specifications and conducting testing activities.

This includes potentially development of new BI reports and functionalities and the upgrade of existing BI reports to meet business needs.

  • Maintain up-to-date end-user documentation on reports (help contents), process and application maintenance documentation, as well as support and training materials when required - Participate to the ongoing technical support and maintenance of the Ipsos BI data warehouse and reporting system, following the Ipsos security protocol, as well as the regular upgrades of the HCM Oracle Cloud application

  • Assist or prepare ad hoc data analytics queries, validate and reconcile report content using HR, business, finance and accounting acumen.

  • Collaborate with MIS team members when required, including on setup and testing activities. Ensure integration with other MIS systems in terms of structure and security.

  • Work with the Development Team and the MIS Security Team on the target security setup (roles, permissions, scopes…), including regular reviews, process documentation and optimization.

Profil recherché

Environment: Based in Europe (preferably) or in North-America, the mission will encompass working with a multicultural team in a global environment in a matrix organization, across different time zones. The Developer will be reporting to the BI Global Director and will be working closely with the Development team and the HR System Functional team, in an IT environment. The mission proposed is for a permanent position.

Required educational background:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science/IT. A degree in HR, Finance or Statistics would be a plus. Required qualifications and skills/expertise:

The position is open to candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Technical hands-on working experience with Oracle HCM platform and/or international HR management software is a plus.

The required technical skills for the mission include: - Development skills in Microsoft SQL Server language - Development skills BI Publisher language (Oracle SQL) - Knowledge of Oracle HCM/ERP Cloud OTBI is a plus - Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel is a must)

  • Any interest or skills in IT (front-end or back-end) would be a plus
